Gene Clyde Adair ^Jr, 30, of 2800 Van Giesen, Richland, died Monday, January 1, 1979 at his home.

He was born in Pryor, OK on April 29, 1948 and lived in the Tri-Cities most of his life.

Gene attended John Ball Elementary in kindergarten and Jefferson Elementary in the 1st grade before the family moved to Kennewick where he attended West Gate Elementary. The family then moved to Idaho Falls before returning to Richland where Gene attended 8th and 9th grade at Chief Jo Junior High School. He graduated with the Class of 1966 from Richland's Columbia High School. He received his RN Degree from Columbia Basin College.

Gene was a member of the Richland Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Adair of Richland ^Sr of Richland; and siblings: Peggy Adair ('72) of Richland, Mrs. Judy Beck Meyer Brooks of Richland, Anneta Loeller-Adair ('52) [George ('53)] Anderson of Richland, Mrs. Marion (Bobbie) Clark of Kennewick, Jim Adair ('65/'66/'67) [Kathie Moore Adair ('69)] of Richland, Joe Adair ('50 honorary) of Okanogan and Willis Adair of Corcoran, CA.

Services will be announced by Einan's Funeral Home.

His sister, Judy, passed away December 11, 2009.

His brother, Joe ('52 honorary), passed away November 22, 2012.
