Richard Glenn Erickson passed away on September 4, 2017, at his home in Greenwood, Louisiana at the age of 70. He was born in Spokane on January 31, 1947.
He graduated from Richland's Columbia High School with the Class of 1966.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Delana Erickson, and six grandchildren: Jeremiah, Carson, Mackara, Michael, Brian and Tiara. He is also survived by his sister, Jeannine Erickson Blake; three nieces: Jennifer, Wendy and Susie; two nephews, Bud and Bobby; and by his long-time girlfriend, Allene Noack.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Glenn Herbert Erickson (June 14, 1992) and Edna Rose Marie Morris Erickson (October 14, 1949); his daughter, Tanya Erickson; his stepmother, Helena Voss; and his granddaughter, Mercedes.
Richard served in the U. S. Army for four years as a Private in Vietnam and worked for Hertz Rent-A-Car until he retired in Florida. Richard moved to Arizona for some time prior to settling in Louisiana, where he resided for the past six years.
His funeral service was held at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery; 21702 W. Espanola Road; Medical Lake, WA 99022 on Monday, September 25, 2017, at 3:00 p.m.
