CLIFTON ROBERT "CLIF" HOOVER ~ Class of 1966

Clifton Robert "Clif" Hoover was born on January 15, 1948. His parents were Dallas A. Hoover ^Sr and Verna B. Hoover. His brother, Dallas Hoover ^Jr ('62), passed away August 5, 2020.

Clif attended Jefferson Grade School, Chief Jo Junior High School and graduated with the Class of 1966 from Richland's Columbia High School. He then attended Columbia Basin College.

He married Kelly Jo Oliver on June 16, 1973.

Clif worked at Hanford for 43 years as a Quality Assurance Engineer.

He liked to hunt and fish. Clif bowled for many years and succeeded in getting his perfect 300 game.

He passed away after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer on November 19, 2020, in Richland.

Clif is survived by his wife, Kelly; his son, Jason Hoover; daughter-in-law, Allison Hoover; grandchildren Logan, Colin and Aydan Hoover; his daughter, Marin Holly Hoover Harris; son-in-law, Ryan Harris; and granddaughter, Sara Harris.

He was preceded in death by his father on November 30, 1986; by his mother on November 13, 1994; and by his son-in-law, Michael Harris.

Arrangements for a celebration of life will be held later.
