Donald Fritz Jones, age 71, of Richland died September 2, 2017 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

He was born in Richland on March 20, 1946 and lived in the Tri-City area for 30 years. Don attended Carmichael Junior High School and graduated with the Class of 1966 from Richland's Columbia High School. He was also an honorary member of the Classes of 1964 and 1965.

Don was a retired operator in the Hanford area.

He served in the U. S. Army from 1968-1970 as a Sergeant E-5 serving in Europe then in the Active Reserves and Basic Training Combat Unit from 1974-1975.

Viewing was from 6pm - 8pm on Friday, September 8, 2017, at Einan's followed by a Rosary from 8pm - 9pm.

The Funeral Service began at 10am on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Einan's followed by a Military Graveside Service at 11am.
