Janice Marie "Jan" Klusman McCurdy was born November 30, 1947 in Richland to Harold C. and M. Patricia "Pat" Klusman. She passed away in Richland on July 18, 2021.

She attended Spalding Grade School, Carmichael Junior High School and Richland's Columbia High School with the Class of 1966. She then attended Columbia Basin College.

Jan married Clarence Dale "Mac" McCurdy ^Jr on August 4, 1966.

She was a member of the Richland Baptist Church in Richland and was a lifelong resident of Richland. Jan loved camping on the Naches River during the summer.

Jan had worked for the Washington State Department of Licensing and as a deputy clerk for the Benton County Superior Court. She loved people and serving the public. She also worked for a while at Kadlec for X-Ray Scheduling.

Jan is survived by her siblings, Norm Klusman ('64) and Judy Klusman Alegria ('62) (Rich); her children, Lisa McCurdy ('86) and Kenneth McCurdy ('91 honorary); and grandson, Joshua Brannon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mac, who passed away on April 6, 2007; and by her parents.

A Memorial Gathering was held at Leslie Grove Park on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.
