Sheila JoAnn Maddy Kelly died at her home surrounded by her family on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2024, in Chewelah, WA. She had been fighting cancer for almost three years.

She was born in Yakima on October 3, 1947.

Sheila attended Lewis & Clark Grade School, Carmichael Junior High School and graduated with the Class of 1966 from Richland's Columbia High School.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jerry Kelly ('64KHS); son, Jaysun Kelly; daughter, Carrie Kelly Kent (Aaron); granddaughters, Madysun Kent and Lily Kent; grandson, Aaron "AJ" Kent; brothers, Ricker "Rick" A. Maddy ('67) and Roger Maddy (Jan); nephews, Benjamin Maddy and John Maddy; and niece, Heather Maddy-Pennington.

Sheila will be cremated, and her ashes will be spread into the Puget Sound, her favorite place on Earth.
