Charles "Tim" McDermott was born in Pasco in on September 13, 1947. He attended Jason Lee Elementary School, Sacajawea Elementary School, Chief Jo Junior High School and was an honorary member of the Class of 1966 at Richland's Columbia High School.

Tim was in construction and was also in the U. S. Army.

He passed away on Sunday, September 24, 1989, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Pasco.

Greenlee Funeral Home in Pasco was in charge of the services, and he was buried at Columbia Memorial Gardens in Pasco.
