Mike was born in Richland on July 6, 1948 to David and Justine Senker McDonald. He passed away December 23, 2003 while living in Houston, TX.

He was baptized at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Richland on July 6, 1948. He attended Lewis and Clark Elementary School, Carmichael Junior High School and graduated with the Class of 1966 from Richland's Columbia High School.

Mike died from Lou Gehrig's Disease after battling the disease for five years.

Note: His father passed away on December 11, 2014. His mother passed away on January 3, 2000. Both parents are buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland.
