Charlene was born on May 13, 1948 to Catherine Lucille Ryan and Richard Niles Moore in Union City, Michigan. She passed away at Highline Hospital in Burien on August 19, 2004 due to complications from diabetes. She had been recovering from a leg amputation and was looking forward to returning home.

She attended Chief Jo Junior High School and graduated with the Class of 1966 from Richland's Columbia High School.

Char was a longtime 35-year employee with the U.S. Customs and worked for the Border Patrol. Although she was married to Richard Harding, she retained her maiden name.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Moore, who was born November 10, 1953. He passed away at the age of 12 in an accidental shooting on December 31, 1965.

Char is survived by her husband, L. Richard Harding; and her brother, Dennis Scott Moore ('69).

She was buried in the Evergreen-Washelli Memorial Park in Seattle.
