David Alan "Dave" Nielsen was born June 9, 1948, in Los Angeles, CA. He passed away at the age of 72 on January 26, 2021, in Scottsdale, AZ from complications after having heart surgery.

Dave attended Spalding Grade School, Chief Jo Junior High school and graduated with the Class of 1966 from Richland's Columbia High School.

His siblings are Mark Nielsen ('70), Don Nielsen ('73), Doug Nielsen ('76) and Angela Nielsen Rhodes ('84).

He married Teresa "Teri" Waite on March 27, 1971.

Dave was in the equipment leasing business in Chicago, IL and then in the real estate business in Scottsdale, AZ.

He served a mission in Uruguay and Paraguay with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Dave's memorial service was February 3, 2021, at the Mountain View Ward of the Paradise Valley Arizona Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Phoenix, AZ. Dave's Memorial Video Note: It takes several minutes before the service begins.

NOTE: His brother, Don ('73), passed away October 11, 2022.
