Neale Anthony Osterman was born July 22, 1947 in Richland to Oliver and Alice Nelson Osterman. He passed away at the V.A. Hospice Unit in Spokane from aggressive lung cancer on December 23, 2011.

He attended Spalding Elementary School, Carmichael Junior High School and continued his education with the Class of 1966 at Richland's Columbia High School until he moved after our junior year. He graduated from high school in Portland at Wilson High School in 1966.

He served in the U. S. Navy in Vietnam.

He was the youngest of seven children born to the Osterman's. They lived in an 'A' house located on the SW corner of Perkins/Roberdeau.

Neale was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Alice Nelson Osterman; brother, Charles Osterman (not a Bomber); and sister, Thoris Osterman Dadey ('49).

He is survived by siblings: Deane Osterman (not a Bomber), twins: Larry Osterman ('51) and LaVerne Osterman Newstrom ('51), and Jon "Clayton" Osterman ('54).

Private services will be at a later date. Inurnment will be at Roundlake Cemetery in Tamarack, Minnesota.
