Michael Ray "Mike" Whittle was born in Richland in 1948 to James Hubert Whittle and Mary Frances Palmer Whittle. He passed away at the age of 47 in 1995 in Denver, CO.

Mike's family moved to Benton City in the early 50's and returned to Richland in 1964.

Mike graduated with the Class of 1966 from Richland's Columbia High School.

He married Mary Ann Apodaco on December 23, 1967 in Salt Lake City, UT. To this union two sons were born, Michael and Mark. Mike and Mary were divorced on July 19, 1979.

Mike had three siblings: James Earl Whittle, Glenn Palmer Whittle ('73) and Sharon Frances Whittle Miracle ('78).

His mother, Mary Frances Whittle , passed away on April 30, 2011.

His father passed away at the age of 67 on October 4, 1988 in Richland.

Mike is survived by his sons, Michael and Mark; his brother, Jim (Joan); his brother, Glenn (Precy); and his sister, Sharon (Jerry).
