Mary Jane Kilgore Hendricks, age 67, of West Richland passed away on February 14, 2017 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. She was born on January 20, 1950 at the very same location to Richard and Waldena Kilgore. She was raised in Richland and stayed there her entire life.

Mary graduated from Richland's Columbia High School in 1968. In February 1975 she met the love of her life, Jerry Hendricks. They were married on August 2, 1975.

She was an avid collector of anything related to Pepsi. She was the happiest when surrounded by family and friends, playing games, traveling and attending her kids' and grandkids' sporting and music events.

Mary enjoyed going to the Oregon Coast and Cruising to Alaska, the Caribbean, the Bahamas and Mexico. Mary was always actively involved with her kids’ school activities. She was known to many other kids as their second mom. Mary had an infectious smile and laugh that everyone loved.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry L. Hendricks of West Richland; two children, Wendi and Michael (Angela) Hendricks; four grandchildren: Chandler, Cameron, Harper and Genny; one great grandchild, Nevaeh; her brother, Richard ('62) (Kathye) Kilgore; her brother in law, Dennis Hendricks; six nieces: Tracy, Tonya, Hailey, Marylyn, Audrey and SaLee; and one nephew, Randy.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Richard and Waldena Kilgore; and by her in-laws, Clifford and Thadene Hendricks.

Memorial services were held Monday at 11am on February 20, 2017 at the Event Center located in Einan’s at Sunset, 915 Bypass Highway in Richland.

Her father, Robert, passed away March 23, 1992.
