This We Will Remember . . .
"The amber sunset radiating into blue, merging with the desert . . . the searing sun reflected in the coldness of a broad river . . . the skeletal sage covering barren hills . . . And below their dusty slopes, gray domed reactors hide a core of searing energy . . .
And a small city . . .
This is our environment . . . embracing our senses and mind . . . beautiful in its desolation . . . dominated
by the sun and the atom . . .
It will change . . . and so will we . . .
but this is our remembrance of it in 1966."
